Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Salary: ₦1,800,000- ₦3,000,000 monthly

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial strategies to align with the bank's business objectives and growth goals.
• Oversee all daily financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, such as credit, market, and operational risks.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to other departments on financial matters.
• Ensure the bank complies with all applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, including filing statutory returns.
• Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, auditors, and regulators, while maintaining strong relationships.
• Lead financial analysis, long-term financial planning, and the development of financial models to support strategic decision-making. 
• Develop and execute the financial strategy of the microfinance bank in alignment with the overall business goals.
• Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans. Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including Central Bank guidelines, tax laws, and other legal requirements. Liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.
• Manage the bank’s capital structure and Treasury function. Optimize the bank’s capital allocation to support growth objectives.

Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. A Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management within the banking or financial services sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in microfinance operations is a significant plus.
• Strong knowledge of microfinance operations and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in financial strategy development and execution.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal sunalives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
