The Nigerian senate has uncovered massive financial discrepancies in Nigeria’s crude oil sector, with about $303 billion allegedly stolen from both local and international transactions.
This is according to the Senate Committee Investigating Incessant and Nefarious Acts of Crude Oil Theft in the Niger Delta, which stated that forensic reviews by its consultants revealed that over $22 billion, $81billion, and $200 billion remain unaccounted for in separate crude oil sale records.
